Privacy & Cookies
Last updated: June 3, 2026
The YouTube Learning Library is a tool for discovering and organizing educational YouTube videos. This page explains what data we store and how cookies are used.
Functional cookie
On your first visit we set a single first-party cookie, anon_id, containing a random anonymous identifier (for example #IDa1b2c3). It lasts one year and is used only to rate-limit submissions, prevent duplicate upvotes, and attribute anonymous contributions. It does not identify you personally and is not shared with advertisers.
Account sign-in
If you sign in with Google, we use your Google account only to authenticate you and to access the YouTube data you explicitly choose to import. We do not post on your behalf or sell your data.
Advertising
This site may display ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads. Where ads are shown to visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK, or Switzerland, consent is collected through Google's certified consent management platform before any non-essential cookies are set. You can learn more, and manage your choices, at Google's advertising policies and Google Ad Settings.
Third-party content
Videos are embedded directly from YouTube. When a video loads, YouTube may set its own cookies under its privacy policy.
